Call
it what you want: Holistic care, alternative medicine, preventive
care, it's all basically the same. The attempt to make or keep a patient
healthy and happy is what it's all about. One of our goals is the
practice of top notch preventive care. We feel that if our patients
get regular health exams, they will stay healthier and lead longer,
better lives. Owners are a great health mouthpiece for how the pet
has been doing. We want to know about the pet's behavior, diet, eating,
drinking, etc. The pet is also weighed. Yes, lots of pets are overweight
and never see a scale except ours. A physical exam starts at the nose
and ends at the tail and includes all that is between. We've all had
them. Add the dental exam. Our veterinarians can then take this information
and make an educated evaluation of the pet's health status and its
needs for maintenance or repair.
