My interest in being a veterinarian is similar to why most of you have pets. I grew up with many pets over the years from dogs, cats, horses; and even a random raccoon, and turtle. Fascinated with biology and medicine I went to NDSU and then to Iowa State University for veterinary school. That was over 25 years ago but I still love this job.

My wife Tami and I are both from the Bismarck area. We have two sons who have graduated from college. Our daughter is just starting college, so our pets are now filling the empty nest. Boomer is our overactive overachieving English Pointer, and Roxie is our Bichon/Shitzu who is always happy no matter what situation. Never a dull moment with these two.

Being at Animal Health Clinic gives me the opportunity to work with such good diagnostics, medicine, and surgery. It’s fun to work with our staff and veterinarians whose dedication and enthusiasm are so contagious. The great clients that take such good care of their pets make this an enjoyable place to work.
